What could be more magical than a hotel on an island? The Lake Palace in Udaipur is even better than what you may imagine. The palace was built under the direction of the Maharana in the 18th century. In the 1960’s it was turned into a luxury hotel. When I stepped out of the boat, a doorman was holding a beautiful umbrella to walk guests to the main door. April 2008.

Dans les années 1960, il a été transformé en hôtel de luxe. Quand je suis sorti du bateau, un portier tenait un impressionnant parapluie pour accompagner les clients à la porte principale.
