Each morning, at Sassoon Docks, fishermen hoist baskets of freshly caught fish and shrimps. Shrimps are hand peeled on the quay by groups of women and young girls in the middle of a noisy crowd. The dock hosts the biggest fish trading market in Mumbai since 1875 when it was built by Albert David Sasoon, a wealthy jewish merchant. May 2015.
