There is a 12th century church in Bruges that houses a relic of the Holy Blood allegedly collected by Joseph of Arimathea and brought from the Holy Land by Thierry of Alsace, Count of Flanders. The phial was never opened since its arrival in the city. A few hours every week, the Holy Blood is shown by the priests to the pilgrims. The relic now has its own website. February 2007.

Cette fiole n’a jamais été ouverte depuis son arrivée dans la ville. Quelques heures chaque semaine, le Saint Sang est montré par les prêtres aux pèlerins. La relique a maintenant son site Internet.
